Regarding the Event Structure
The Main Mat will be in operation all evening.

Most of the female wrestlers tend to get on the mats early in the evening (9:30 - 11 pm), and thus the ladies roll together in a friendly round-robin tournament. Not all of these ladies are professional wrestlers, and most are hobbyists or casual martial artists.

Mixed matches and instructional bouts are interspersed between the female matches, particularly if one of the tournament participants just fought a match and needs to rest before her next. Male matches primarily take place after midnight.

There is the beloved Tag Team Royal Rumble just slightly before midnight. For this, all participants sit in a circle around the Main Mat to create and sustain the energy of the Royal Rumble. We start with two participants in the center, and they roll. We use our "Tag In/Tag Out" (TM) format to switch fighters on the fly during the course of the battle. This can eventually grow into a multi-person affair, wherein there are several matches on the mat at once, giving the appearance of All Hell Breaking Loose.

The Tag Team Royal Rumble ends at the stroke of midnight.

After midnight, admission to the party is slashed to $10, and the mats are open to any and all who wish to use them. This is a good opportunity for pick-up matches and mini sessions. This is the perfect time to ask that little hottie over there if he/she would like to have a roll with you.

If you would like to set up a match or would like to purchase a mini-session with one of the professional guest session wrestlers, sign up with the Ring Master (the MC for the evening) or one of the referees (assistants to the Ring Master)

Types of Matches
Expect to see casual matches between friends, instructional matches between learning partners, and hardcore matches and mini sessions between competitive personalities.

Regarding Rules and Limits
The location is a bar and lounge, so normal NYC bar rules are in effect; this means no nudity and absolutely NO sexual contact of any sort. All other forms of safe, sane, and consensual physical play are permitted provided those afore-mentioned conditions are abided by.

All Grapple Den participants must sign a liability waiver before being allowed on the mats. It is strongly advised that you do NOT participate in the competitive wrestling if you do not have health insurance coverage.
